    Dr. Ahmed AlKhazraji, PT, DPT

    Institute Director, Medical Operations of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi

    Dr. AlKhazraji serves as Institute Director, Medical Operations at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi (CCAD), leading the operations, budgets, and implementation of strategies across multiple clinical and administrative service lines. Prior to this role, he served as the Director of Rehabilitation Therapies, brought in to establish and operationalize rehabilitation services from their absolute beginning.

    He currently serves as a Board Member of AmCham Abu Dhabi, and represents the UAE on the Steering Committee of the UAE Centre of Johns Hopkins’ Sheikh Khalifa Stroke Institute. He is also an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Physical Therapy Association.

    Dr. AlKhazraji received his undergraduate degree from Marquette University, his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Southern California, and his Executive Certification in Corporate Finance from Columbia Business School. He is also currently completing the UAE Government Executive Leaders Program with Oxford University’s Saïd Business School, as one of a group of hand-picked Emarati executive leaders tasked with helping drive the UAE towards its centennial 2071 vision.

    Mazen Takhah is the Director of Government Affairs & Policy cross sector for Saudi Arabia, which includes Consumer, Pharma and Medical. He assumed this position as of August 1st 2017. Mazen joins Johnson & Johnson with over 20 years’ experience in senior executive roles in Consumer Health, Pharmaceuticals, Investment Banking & Aviation.

    In his last role, Mazen was the General Manager of SCP (Saudi Center for Pharmaceuticals) a leading healthcare company that is focused on sales and marketing of high quality nutritionals and pharmaceuticals, and prior to that Group Director of Investments and Corporate Communication at Banaja Holdings. Mazen held other roles in the Investment Banking sector including VP of Private Banking at Credit Suisse and Senior Dealer in Treasury Corporate Services at Banque AlSaudi AlFransi. Mazen successfully lead multiple high-profile investment projects alongside the Saudi Government and managed very high-profile stakeholders.

    Mazen Holds a B.S. in Biology from University of Missouri-Columbia USA, B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering, B.S. in Aviation Management and a B.A. Aviation Engineering Technology from St. Louis University USA.

    Mr. Ayman Mokhtar is the Regional President Middle East, Turkey and Levant.

    Mr. Mokhtar’s inherent beliefs are that all patients should have access to the right medical knowledge in addition to the right medical treatment. In addition, overcoming healthcare challenges is a collective effort that needs the collaboration of all parties across the healthcare sector (including but not necessarily limited to regulators, payors, healthcare professionals, insurances, patients).

    With more than twenty years’ of experience in the pharmaceutical and retail sectors, Mr. Mokhtar has a broad and international background in general management, sales, marketing, business development, operations and strategic positions, managing large teams and forming strong networks with key stakeholders, as well as serving on several high-profile advisory boards. Mr. Mokhtar began his career in Egypt working at different pharmaceutical companies and eventually moved to Sanofi where he spent 15 years building his career and moved into roles of increasing responsibility until he ultimately became the General Manager for the Gulf Countries and Yemen at Sanofi. Mr. Mokhtar subsequently joined Pfizer as the Regional Strategy Lead for Africa and Middle East before serving as Pfizer’s Country Manager for the Gulf states.

    Mr. Mokhtar is a transformational and inspirational leader known for charting a vision and a strategic path while cultivating the stakeholder engagement necessary to drive organizations to the next level. Additionally, Mr. Mokhtar is a charismatic presenter and inspirational speaker with a strong stage presence.

    Mr. Mokhtar holds a bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Cairo University in Egypt and has completed several business studies latest the Advanced Management Program Global Experience, International Business from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management.

    Mr. Mokhtar lives in Dubai, United Arab Emirates with his wife, son and daughter.
