Mansoor Al Hamed was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Mubadala Petroleum in February 2021. Prior his appointment he held the position of Chief Growth Officer where he was responsible for all new business development and Mergers & Acquisitions activities at Mubadala Petroleum.

He brings with him more than 15 years of diverse experience in the oil and gas industry and across various disciplines of business leadership.

Mansoor joined Mubadala Petroleum in 2010. Before joining Mubadala Petroleum, he worked in a highly diversified private sector business based in the UAE, gaining experience across commercial and managerial roles held in various business sectors.

Mansoor holds a BSc degree in Business Administration from the American University in Dubai and two MSc degrees from Abu Dhabi University and National Defense College in Abu Dhabi.

Jasem joined Mubadala in June 2008 and was part of the CFA program where he passed level 1. In 2009, Jasem joined Mubadala Petroleum Strategy and Corporate Development team and was responsible to deliver Mubadala Petroleum strategy, provide optimization plans to upgrade the portfolio, maintain robust commercial, economic and financial framework and benchmark Mubadala Petroleum to global IOC’s to ensure best in-class practices.

In 2014, Jasem was appointed as an asset manager for one of Mubadala Petroleum’s assets where he was responsible for the technical, operational and financial performance. In 2016, he was appointed as an asset manager for Mubadala Petroleum at the Mubadala UAE Investments platform (previously called Energy Platform) where he was responsible for Mubadala Petroleum overall performance.

Currently, in addition to the asset management role of Mubadala Petroleum which has recently announced 500 thousands boe/d working interest production rate, Jasem is part of the Masdar asset management team within the Mubadala UAE Industries supporting the recent Masdar transaction and alignment with other Abu Dhabi energy companies.

Prior to Mubadala, Jasem studied his Bachelor at Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research (KUSTAR) and graduated with Distinction Honour in Electrical Engineering. In addition, enrolled into several executive education programs such as the NYU Abu Dhabi Geopolitics Executive Education Program and have an ESG Fundamental certificate from Fitch-Learning.
