Doreen Remmen has been a professional member of IMA since 1992 and joined IMA’s staff as CFO in 2009. She holds the CMA® (Certified Management Accountant), CSCA (Certified in Strategy and Competitive Analysis) and CAE (Certified Association Executive) credentials.

As senior vice president of operations and CFO, Remmen currently leads IMA’s Value Enablement area, which includes IMA’s finance, information technology, human resources, facilities, and U.S. customer service teams. She is the staff liaison to IMA’s Planning and Development Committee and is deeply involved with the Performance Oversight and Audit Committee. Remmen has senior leadership team responsibility for IMA’s strategic planning process and works with all IMA value streams to execute plans and innovation initiatives and to deliver an efficient and seamless customer experience.

Prior to joining IMA’s staff, Remmen held senior financial leadership positions in a number of privately-held and publicly-traded companies involved in diverse industries spanning manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, and other services. A graduate of the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada, she began her accounting career in audit with Ernst and Whinney.
